Ok this is for a mini discussion about what card/card family is better than another similar family. So a lot of stuff may go into what you think is better (Like how it was used in the show in such). I will post at least this first one to get stuff started and we discuss this for a week or til it seems dead.
To start it off lets go with a blast from the past vs the present
Blue-Eyes White Dragon family vs. Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon family
Since Blue-Eyes is older and has alot of support already from kaibaman, white stone of legend and such, to help Galaxy, you may include the Photon family with him. Also ,Blue-eyes has more "evolutions" than Galaxy-eyes so far. Blue-eyes White Dragon, Blue-eyes Ultimate Dragon, Dragon Master Knight, Blue-eyes Shinning Dragon while Galaxy so far is Galaxy-eyes Photon Dragon and Neo Galaxy-eyes photon dragon.
While back in the day Blue-eyes may have been one of the strongest cards currently Galaxy-eyes and Neo Galaxy are the strongest anti-xyzs monsters eating their materials and attacking for big damage.
Well we all know in a 1v1 the battle would be a draw or banishing by Galaxy-eyes. So this is why this is a family/character battle for this week.
My vote for this match-up goes to Blue-eyes since one it's family line kinda set the bases for monsters like Galaxy-eyes to come about and two, has a bit more support and more evolution so far to help keep it competitive. The characters who harness these great dragons though are very similar in the way of they fight to protect their brothers and their ace monster is a 3000 attack dragon.
Now time for who you guys and girls to choose and explain why it is better. Have fun with this please try not to start a bad argument, this can be a fun debate though
