Favorite Music

Everyone loves music (we really do, otherwise there wouldn't be millionaire musicians anywhere around the world). This topic is for anything about music.

I might as well start off with the music I like:
Metal
Hard Rock
Jazz
Classical
Basically everything except Rap and Hip hop

My favorite Metal bands are:
Lamb of God (all time the best)
Metallica (kings of original thrash)
All That Remains
Bullet For My Valentine
Avenged Sevenfold

I also like Adele (my girlfriend really likes her and now she got me listening to her music a lot), Maroon 5 (Adam is such a great singer), and Deep Purple (Steve is amazing at guitar XD).

I am also saving up for my own custom drum kit, for a life long hobbie.

Since I am a musician myself ( I play trombone, baritone/euphonium, and bass guitar and starting to learn drums), I have a great appreciation of classical music (especially of Richard Wagner, J.S. Bach, Ludwig Van Beethoven, and Franz Lizst) and of jazz music (Airmen of Note especially).

Just post what you like about music, your favorite artist/band/composer, or anything at all.

Okay you just listed my favourite bands... That's creepy.

Ones I will add are Alice In Chains (RIP Mike Starr) and Judas Priest.

I also agree on Maroon 5, Adam is the reason I started watching The Voice.

I also have this strange love for Adam Lambert.

Ok I did not know you liked all of those bands so that's just amazing XD, yet kinda creepy lol.

I only like Adam Lambert's "If I Had You", it is still stuck in my head after like a year or so after I heard it.

Judas Priest is awesome but I'm not a huge fan of Alice in Chains but I still like them a lot.

What is "The Voice?"

It's a TV show. It's kinda like Idol and them, but it's a blind audition. The 4 coaches, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton are all turned back to the stage, and all have to pick 8 people to join their team. This is the second season

I also play Trombone (lol) I own a Conn 88HO and a Barrington ( I think TB42 Open Wrap F attachment) trombones. The conn trombone was my baby in band lol I always would be polishing it and making it look nice. I was in Jazz band, marching band, and concert band. It was funny though one day my Jazz band director asked "What music do you listen to?" and I say" Metal and rock" and he replied with, I can hear it in your sound being loud and aggressive.". I just lol. Jazz band we had the 3rd trombonist and bass trombonist playing louder than our first two trombonist XD
I strived to be the loudest trombonist with the best sound (gold plated bach omega %G mouthpiece helped) and after awhile the bass trombonist and my partner on 3rd caught up. I miss band since I graduated.

O...M...G...I think your my long lost brother man XD. I have a Holton 69 from '59 that I got from my teacher and I am lead trombone in my jazz band now (senior year XD).

i love Jazz, drums are so much fun in that genre
