March 2012 Format

Wow...NO ONE is going to ever touch plants again this format. Tengu in my opinion is now almost useless at 2. Agents getting hit? I definately didn't see that coming at all. TG Striker...i loved TG's, but he was just an OP card with werewolf for a 1st turn 5 star sync with a Normal summon still about to happen. 2 TT is just going to make everyone scared for starting OTKs, which is what most decks did in the 2011 March format, not so much this format besides Offering Gadgets. 3 Call...no one is going to run 3 call, not many even ran 2 or any at all. 2 Lumina is a good idea: she isn't an OP card but she is really good, welcome back lightsworns XD. I wish the gave back a 2nd Shi-en, but oh well. Overall, the list is good because it stops most of those really irritating decks like tengu plants from controlling the meta game.

ill still play with plants, but not cpmetitvely.

2 of my mains, Plant synchro centric and tengu plants took a hit T.T. On the At the very least, thank god BLS didn't take a hit... that could have gotten messy.

I loved trish but it needed to go...I mean most of the time, when trish hits the field, the game turns almost immediately and the player of trish wins

Looks like the format is going to be even faster. Maybe if we're lucky the 2 TT will slow it down some. Also, zombies are making a come back, and maybe we'll even see some TeleDAD builds around? Overall, I think this is a bad list though. It does NOTHING to balance out the format. Then again, ORCS was just released so Konami will continue to milk it for atleast another format. What surprises me is THEY HIT AN EXCLUSIVE DA FUQ?

I'm surprised of Tengu being semi-limited, but I am kinda glad I don't have to deal with super OP plants anymore. The calls will help Zombies, but they would come back better if they semi- Mezuki or Burial from DD.

I won't lie, this list isn't all that bad to me. Granted, it doesn't effect my deck at ALL, but it still isn't TERRIBLE. It isn't great, no. But it still isn't THAT bad. However, it really doesn't make the most sense, but it's clear what Konami did.

It hurt my wallet...was about to sell my 2nd trishula D:. Well I still got an ultimate rare plague spreader and I think Shien's Dojo to sell lol. The dojo looked like a common when I pulled it lol.

The ban list just doesn't make sense to me. However, doesn't effect my decks, so... =P

Yea exactly: 3 JD=OMG I love Konami, 2 Lumina=swarming faster I <3 Konami: Twilight has come back and is going to hit back hard.

Heres what Konami had to say about the banlist:

'In order to keep gameplay at Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME events fair and balanced, we are updating the Limited and Forbidden Cards List regularly, adding cards that have proven problematic, and removing cards that deserve second chances.'

lol windups are so much more consistent than inzektors bro, same with rabbit

Either way those didn't get hit either so the fair/balanced thing konami stated is false unless they think something else can happen. I just lol'd at how he said it. Yes banning glow up and spore does slow down some decks but right now I see more use of wind-ups, rabbits, and inzektors.

In the end I think the list is ok but could of been better. For inzektors I'm mostly just annoyed that I think it is hornet (the one that destroys) didn't get hit.

This list could of been better if they at least hit some cards like rabbit, wind up hunter/rabbit, and hornet (not ban but at least semi them or limit). I'll just agree with the people who say they are just pushing xyzs in and synchros out.

Also kinda surprised Trishula got banned before Brionac since brionac been around longer, easier to get out, and is continuous. My only guessing of it still being limited is that the eff has a cost each turn turn and for some not to hard to get over.
